Pale King would obliterate Hornet probably. She never actually killed a higher being before using her own strength, GMS is only bound. Physically we don't know much except for the fact that he is essentially the ultimate soul user.
He's also just too good at getting loyal allies to assist him. Almost every prior civilisation to Hallownest had good relations, except for Deepnest. GMS on the other hand wasn't even liked by her own subjects. Nobody would come in to fight for her, while the Pale King has five loyal knights.

The five knights would be cool, but a lost hope really.
