heres the basic stuff that all xenoblade games share: stand near enemies to auto attack (no aiming or missing, those are based on stats), build up Arts (things you can activate do do specific things), and use arts to build up Talent Arts/Specials which are kinda like “ultimate”s

in xc3 at least, you have 6 members that can each have a unique class (out of like 30 classes) and each one has their own autos, arts, skills (innate characteristics) and talent arts, but you can also equip master arts/skills you learn from other classes

as well as each character having gems and accessories for a bit more customization

it just has really high peaks and really low lows

i could say a lot of bad things about xenoblade 3’s story alone

i’ve seen a lot of people who felt disappointed playing xc3 after 1 and 2 which adds to my list of conventionally bad takes

there’s also a lot of bad things wrong with the combat

2 for the most part is anime slop as well as how to fail pacing 101 as well as how to fail character design 101 (for the most part)

i also think people who like 1 a lot are too nostalgiapilled, take that as an illusoon2 bad take if you want or you can agree with me whic also supports me

you also know im an honest guy so im not just lying out of my ass on these things just to lower your expectations
