I’ve quite explain the theme of both games. In HK, the knight sealed the radiance In the default ending since it was their “destiny”. But by exploring more and discovering the circumstance of their birth, the knight was able to stop the radiance at its root and rised above its destined fate. Similarly, in Silksong, Hornet would upsurp GMS as it is in her nature to do so (and even the weavers expected her to do so as well). But she rised above her nature and free herself from her destined fate. Both game pointed towards one vital lesson: You should choose who you are yourself instead of letting your birth circumstances cloud your judgement.
