theyre big FGC nerds lol, they were excited about TOKON and the League fighting game and it was nice listening to their thoughts despite not being a FGC guy myself, even if they do throw a bunch of terminologies but you can see their love for discussing FGC tech and stuff, and they kinda attributed to their love if it when they played/finished Silksong (even if HK/Skong arent really directly comparable to FGC)

Ender Lilies is peak for me, immensely beautiful — the artstyle and ambients are spot on. Music is quite quiet, didn't notice much of it other than the endings — I liked the sequel more in this aspect.

I feel like Elden ring has just so much « gotcha, had to learn timing » and it’s not really fun
I think it’s also generally annoying that there are so many weapons which makes that if you struggle with a boss, someone is gonna tell you that the solution is just to use your super duper one shot button

Like you can’t stop asking yourself « am I sucking at this boss because I suck, or because I’m not using the right weapon »
(This is me being traumatised after struggling immensely to beat maliketh by using pure holy damage)

But generally ER breaks the ratio between hard to dodge moves giving big rewards
Which makes stuff like waterfowl dance, in which there is one extremely complex move that can pop up at random and doesn’t give you a particularly good punish

ER is full of those moves which you just can’t really punish (see mogh being able to zone you with blood for free)
