Zango has 800 hp I believe, but can regenerate. The Phial doesn't deal damage, it reduces his health by 25% each time, meaning you can brute force him in his last phase if using the phial is too difficult.

I don't die a lot, but I just feel more free when not being threatened with an 80 hour runback to my current progress. Playing risky and all that just isn't as fun in Steel Soul. I guess the debate is equivalent to Minecraft inventory on/off, where I again believe that the player can have the option where it's more fun to them.
