so even though veredicto probably deals more damage and hits airborne enemies easier, its just a lot smoother for me to get a lot of hits per jump

also does hornet just steal soul like the knight? because surely the little surface roaches and shakra and shit wouldnt net her any silk on hit, right? but they still do, so it doesnt seem like its actually because 99% of characters happen to have silk in them

even though she still gets silk that way when theres (presumably) no soul

in the same vein, ruego probably deals more damage more consistnetly than sacramento and carmelita but i find the dash slash, diagonal attacks, and pogos to be much more smoother to play with

if i could id run ruego for most natural encounters but i cant pass up dash slash diagonal attacks and pogos
