I like the vibe and the style of the Hive a lot, but I think it's the worst thought-through area in both of the HK games. Its lore is the most contradicting thing there is in the universe of HK, it doesn't make any sense at all. Most of the area rooms are conceptually completely pointless. The area literally has nothing, just 3 big rooms with several platforms and several corridors. I get that TC don't have to make all areas very detailed in terms of their inner concept, like I get that not all areas should be like the Citadel with many sub-areas and each sub-area meeting specific needs of the Citadel thus making it lore-consistent, but at the very least they could add some mechanics like the small bees hatching from the cells, or some rooms implied to be the honey storage or something like that to make it feel more like a place where actual bees live. The fact that none of that is in there makes it so empty and honestly poitnless. The best part about the hive is the way it looks on the outside, that is executed perfectly imo

Bilewater is long enough and fun since it relies on you bouncing on the balls and the enemies. The stakes of falling in any area overall in bilewater are also higher which make you more tense, there's lot of stuff you can do in that place to be as far as you can from the water.
