Maybe I accidentally missused hard, but what I say is that games have to be CHALLENGING, the stardew valley example was perfect because for us people that have mastered it, we get more enjoyment by being efficient with time, while someone who does not know anything about it, they like to take it very slowly because they find just thriving in the game challenging. It's the exact same thing with Minecraft, experienced players find challenge in speedruning and building farms or mega projects while your sister who doesn't play much video games, she will struggle with regular caves.

Sonic Pocket Adventure is one of those obscure sonic games not a lot of people think about, but its quite an interesting title considering that a lot of its elements are borrowed from Sonic 2, even down to its music. The game also runs pretty well for what it is. Apparently a lot of the people that worked on this game ended up working for Dimps, which are the rensposible studio for giving us the rest of the Sonic handheld titles up to Sonic Generations 3DS. I'd say this game has its own unique charm that acts as its true 8-bit version of Sonic 2 and a hinch of Sonic 3, even copying the same special stages as Sonic 2. Every level also has its own hidden "puzzle pieces" collectables that you can collect to assemble artwork of Yuji Uekawa's Sonic. The only downside I can say about the game is that since it borrows so many elements from Sonic 2, it doesnt really have much of an identity to stand on its own. This is also sort of a Dimps game, so also expect a lot of bottomless pits. Other than that, this is probably what I'd consider to be an underrated gem from the franchise, and semi-obscure.
