that said, there isn't an explanation for why they succeeded while every other vessel died
they go through their journey instantly absorbing powerful spells and nail arts with little effort
many characters seem to like them almost instantly
and of course they eventually kill gods with little to no shown training or experience

one small good thing that godhome did was making the knight work for its godhood
because failing pantheons over and over is canon

With sly, bretta, and the stag i can get why the like the knight, two of them got saved by it, the other one js just a friendly guy, hornet wants to murder you at first, and with everyone else the knight is probably the first thing theyve met in a while that didnt try to immediately kill them
