Widow is defined by two key features: Haunting Bellhart and not having her organic mask.

Firstly about the mask:
GMS wouldn't have torn it off were she a traitor and would have instead bound her. Meanwhile she is a full Weaver, so it would be near impossible for the common bug to defeat her and punish her either. Most likely, the Weavers actually staked her and ripped her mask off. The reason is most likely just simply for supporting GMS. After all that is basically the entire plot.

In the memory after defeating Widow we can see the Weavers playing a melody for GMS. They either were worshipping her at that point in time, or that was the event of her imprisonment (sleep). Likely the former, considering the dialogue goes "for her light".
The Weavers would have also staked her so to inable her of using her true potential. However she still has access to silk from somewhere, with which she haunts Bellhart. That silk may very well have come from GMS as support to her last loyal worshipper (apart from Lace).

Haunting Bellhart is quite clearly just worshipping GMS, no questions asked. I don't even want to waste space on explaining the obvious.

In addition, there is needolin dialogue for Widow in the Cradle, in a somewhat hidden room. There she also worships GMS, this time however alone, with a single harp (?). If you still aren't convinced, why didn't she leave Pharloom like the rest of her kind otherwise? She could have and would have, if not for the fact that she refused to.

First Sinner can also tie into this, however Discord has a limit to message length so I won't really go over it.

There are certain enemies that look like flying flowers. They're passive and only deal contact damage.
They're a great source of silk, especially because they respawn from changing rooms. So a valid strat to heal and stock up on silk is to just go back and forth between certain rooms, allowing you to recover.

It's just a stationary way to counter back when getting hit. It becomes severely useless once you manage to survive most bosses without getting hit often

Against the regular enemies the Architect Needle Strike is most effective, mostly one or two shotting them. Against Groal, use the majority of the tools. Try to keep to one side and just dodge attacks, mostly focusing on not touching the maggot water. Also remember the trap placement, as it is likely the easiest to die to unexpectedly.||
