Aight, so you wanna equip nailmaster's glory and keep hitting him with dash slashes but u have to calculate the correct distance so u don't get hit by the shield. You wanna save your soul for phase 2, where you spam SHAMANED shade soul. Make sure he has space so that the soul knocks back markoth, doing double or (i doubt) even triple damage. If ran out of soul, then hit him with dash attacks again and use shade soul at the first opportunity
