Here is my weaver crest idea, which i'm going to call in this thread the Crest of the Ensnarer This is inspired by the weavers, hornets crestless moveset, and the idea of using silk for martial arts.

Tldr: This crest revolves around a playstyle that both provides increased silk regen along with the use of silk in melee combat. This would encourage a kind of spell spam playstyle which is not currently covered by any existing crest.

Crest of the Ensnarer "Weave silk into your attacks, gaining silk rapidly" (Bind a corpse of a weaver, at a shrine in Mt. Fay, late act 2 or act 3 exclusive) [Mt. Fay had a cut crest shrine]

Gameplay changes: Silk generation is doubled for when you land a hit, but every melee attack drains 1/2 a silk. (Gain 2 per hit but uses 1/2 of one for the attack) (when out of silk you use the naked/crestless move-set) Missed attacks will always use silk, but parried attacks (and spike object/hazard bouncing) have there used silk refunded.

Spells and Bind: Silk skills deal 20% less damage. (80% vs 140% of shamen) Maybe 20-33% spell recovery speed. Bind heals 2 masks at the same speed as beast crest. (1 second) Multibind would change bind to be slower and sloppy healing 3 masks. (1 then 2 masks over ~3 seconds)

Melee Attacks: Hornets moveset uses her limbs which incorporate silk to reinforce her attacks. (a form of martial arts akin to dancing) She uses her legs for down attacks and her arms for horizontal and upward attacks. (Attack speed is on par with base beast crest, Range is about the same as witch.)

Horizontal Attack: Hornet will use her arms to create a whip made if silk. She will then swipe it upwards at an angle inverse to the beast crest. This attack would alter the trajectory of flying enemies to make them move above her.

Up Attack: Hornets up attacks are like the beast and reaper crests up attack but follow a angle of the witch crest. She will either swipe up with her legs or use a whip of silk to attack overhead.

Down Attack: The down attack is split into 2 directions, like hornets crestless/hunter movesets. But she instead will coat her legs in silk, she will go down half the distance of hunter crest down attack but then kick forward in an arc and kick in an arc. Reminder that hitting objects/hazards refunds silk, and when out of silk you cant pogo spikes, since you revert to the crestless moveset, but you would have silk hearts)

Run Slash: Hornet will swipes thread around her in a short circular trajectory, covering in-front and behind her, This is followed up by a second longer swipe. (If the second longer swipe hits an enemy she will grapple to them, being lifted above the enemy)

Charge Attack: Hornet will lunge forward creating a web with both hands, trapping creatures within their silken grasp. (Basically wrapping the enemy in a web) (AOE frontal attack)

Tool Slots: Silk Slots: 2, Red Tool: 1 [Max 1], Blue Tool: 0 [Max 2], Yellow Tool: 0 [Max 2]

Crest design: Its inspired by both spider webs and weaver runes. Due to the in game designs of the latter this crest is symmetrical making it different from other crests. (Also a little bit of hive motifs due to hornets connection with them)

Hud design: Is inspired by 1. hornets own bodies design, specifically her leg which is used in the crestless moveset. 2. Silk due to its association with the weavers, and its use in the moveset. 3 The helix pattern is inspired by spider webs, weaver runes, weaved cloth. 4. The crook surrounding GMS in the cradle, which seems to heard her silk. Along with the crook historical being used to represent power, guidance and protection. (made by Mebi)

Crest name: Is a remnant of an older design for the crest but I like the name. Other possible names are, Trapper, Seamstress, Weaver (profession), pursuer, dancer, or Brawler?
