Well, i'll break it down like this on how i think you can improve upon not just defeating karmelita but playing Silksong as a whole

• Your build should reflect your playstyle | in this case you're attempting to punish by poking a lot, one thing you love to do is dash + pogo. Which isn't a very strong suit for Shaman
• There are points where you move too fast. You're anticipating too fast and thus you move into attacks before it even happen, leaving you little room to do something
• Mental prep, everytime you make a mistake, it feel taunting. One best way to deal with this is just drop your aggro combat and compose yourself, breathing and getting back into just dodging Karmelita's attack

• I suggest using Hunter as it has a very forward Pogo, 2 tool slot
• I also advise you to use Cross Stitch as an instant i-frame ability, you'll generally use it less to deal damage but it'll pair great as you want to keep yourself not being hit while using evo Hunter

ok so do this, get every mask and every needle upgrade and then come back and then here is what you'll do is you wanna stay far away from her. if she uses any of her projectiles just hit them it will make them do no damage.
for her triple slash just dash away
for her spin also dash away
for her full room dash. jump as high as possible and pogo her

use palenails and cross stitch if you have enough silk

I recommend running weavelight for Shaman

Pogo-ing Karmelita really helped me deal damage safely when she was finishing her ground attacks, though there's still the chance she can jump up and deal either contact or dress spin damage
