flintslate synergies better with wanderers due more hits, you can run flea brew and flint on hunters but that also adds more downtime as well due to using both tools

Silk skills are more like burst damage really, apart from like Pale nails I'd assume you lose out really bad on dps since youre not able to actively throw tools and the needle out while doing them

maybe, im not 100% sure, cross stitch can allow you to be more aggressive by not moving away from target (though long animation), pale naisl you mentioned, sharp dart help closes distance like savage beast fly charge attack for example (and you can follow it up with a needle hit or 2)

You are right that some skills arent good due to nail downtime aka threadstorm and maybe silkspear (depends tech exists)
