Agreed! I play the game with damage clamping so nothing exceeds 1 damage lmao. I feel like if the game was just suited for hk veterans it’d be more unwelcoming than it already is

if you can build off the focus from weak enemies it directly buffs your damage on the strongest enemies, shaves off 1-2 hits with just a nail upgrades and evo 1 in act 1 and gets proportionally stronger the more nail upgrades you get (and when you get the last evo)

My old strategy was using my normal lost lace dodging method (barely moving, only moving when required) but using the run-slash requires me to start off being really far from lace so i can press C to dash, and after the dash ends sprint is triggered, and after that i can do the runslash
and that is a problem because the horizontal distance requirement to hit lace is INSANE
my new strategy will be fucking hilarious if it works
