i'm not a really skilled gamer and it was frustrating and painful before i 100% the game, but now looking back everything doesn't seem too bad and actually very doable

the only things i think are actually game design mistakes in silksong are

1. Flying enemies flee too much, which makes the correct way to engage them kind of unengaging, just waiting around for opportunities rather than learning to be aggressive properly. Late game abilities help work around this, but it's a bit late into the game.
2. Some of the bosses are a bit simple compared to the enemies that precede them. When regular enemies have 2-3 different attack patterns with different movements, having the boss also fall into 2-3 attack patterns + diff movement makes them fall short.
3. Also I think some of the post game should involve better hinting at unfound secrets. They did it for fleas, and sometimes the game unintentionally conveys incorrect information about its remaining secrets, so it'd be nice to have some sort of failsafe, even if players don't end up using it.
