i've tried weavelight with it myself and i never really found the point in doing it when it's a lot faster to just use your needle, you're using shaman so you're not putting yourself at much risk to get a melee in, especially when its charge attack is honestly really good and the main value i've gotten out of it. i generally prefer to use that blue slot on something like pin badge to make more use out of that charge attack + injector band to circumvent the lengthy bind

and having multiple spells for different situations is nice, but again one spell is gonna be useful in the majority, if not all, of situations you find yourself in for a given fight from what i've played, so multiple spells just seems too niche to give up so much just to run shaman for me
