More rosaries is an out of combat bonus, which is what yellows are for. This means knowing where you are/autolooting/getting to rest your hands while platforming won't make you worse in combat. Weighted belt is close to breaking that rule, but it's a sidegrade. Dice and the steel soul specific one full break the rule, but on steel soul I think they assume you can get away w/o at least 1 of your yellows. Dice kinda undoes the whole system, and rng is lame.

I’m average at the game at best, I make plenty of silly mistakes even on the easier bosses, so playing it super safe was the optimal strat for me, and even then it took a decent amount of tries to get all the movement down to a science

After I beat GMS a third time to get into act 3 they were piss easy because by then I was deeply familiar with the boss

I managed the architect’s pogo occasionally but I just can’t with the delay in the pogo but I like the multi-hit drill slash thing instead of the regular slash with the architect but it’s kinda slower at the same time and pulls hornet, the only thing besides the pogo that I don’t like about the architect is that I can’t use silk skills, but it is nice that it has all those red slots and a couple blue and yellow ones

Nah, I have been practicing all the act 3 bosses with every crest. Wanderers is my least used, and highest win rate... it's really dumb. I still dodge, but I feel like my brain is off when using that crest, so I facetank a lot more while mashing attack. Shaman isn't actually that strong, like middle of the pack. Tools and skills are meant to do more damage than needle. You give up your healing resource to do that big dmg (very slow and not safe in many fights if extended) threadstorm. It is used in speedruns primarily because getting tool upgrade/tools is way too slow, shaman is quick to get, and heals slow/damage fast. People always seem to think speedrun weapon must be best weapon, but watch a livestream and all the facetanking deaths. Hell, even the wr still has deaths in it lol

Most boss fights and even normal enemys have movesets that are hard to evade without some luck.

if you are spamming tools poison isn't worth because it doesn't stack, but if you are using them more sparingly it is substantial high hp boss or not. Adding 6 dmg to a cogfly hit is significant
