||the fact that the second prince is nothing but a memory fits with lost verdania being a recollection, and is pretty tragic cause it implies its been so long that gp doesnt remember his lover anymore (he likely repressed the memory too)

the second dancer being a projection also limits your damage opportunities to the boss which adds a tad bit of challenge to get to when you have another one thats purely a hazard for you to avoid and play around

the music is fine, clockwork dancers hits harder on every front so its kinda inevitable that the iterrative fight that isnt tied to its main theme (the mechanical element of it all) doesnt provide the same impact

could it be better? sure, but its not really a downgrade just a sidegrade methinks||

I love that fight too, but I think ||Clash in the Cradle|| is the best of her fights, the arena is absolutely stellar as is the build-up and ending, and most importantly, it fits its place in the game perfectly. My main issue with ||Lost Lace|| is how out of place it feels given what it is. The ending is amazing, sure, but as ||the absolute final boss fight||, it doesn't feel grand enough compared to the other ones we've had in the series.
