Hi, im in act 3 I think, and it hasnt been too intuitive for me on what to do. And im currently stuck in like 5 seperate possible routes I could take:

|| The first image I assume have some sort of area to access from above, but for both areas ive been trying to explore in the memorium and the choral chambers and the slab, but I cant find anything that will lead a drop. Also, there's a lock with an "ornate lock with a simple key", and I have a simple key right now but it doesnt work for that, and thats the only keyhole I have left discovered so far. Img2 has the other possible areas I need to unlock, but I havent been able to open them, since they require something special other than a simple key.|| Ive been loooking for possible secret areas EVERYWHERE. Ive done multiple runthroughs of the entire map as I was trying to finish act 2 but kinda need help :/ (found all fleas)

But I just found this thing at the top of the Cradle, I climbed back up to bind GMS’s arm and get Pale Nails skill, and noticed a path above. It’s this thing of thorns and rock. The only enemies are Pharlids, the things that GMS transformed to make the Weavers, and the music is so haunting it’s breathtaking. This game has had many moments where it astounded me in the way the original HK was, but this feeling of mystery tops all the other things in this vein of stuff idk

Get the secret bench and the charm that protects you from the worms so that you have full hp instead of having the heal just remove the worms, in the first 2 waves just jump over the enemies and pogo them. In the actual boss phase stay in the water in the middle and be patient and punish each attack once its over looking out specifically for the dive attacks

Also, SIlksong is such a different game, as hard as it can seem after completing my second playthrough many of the complaints I had with progression, power feeling and the overwhelming arena fights gets lower not because I am better, but because I am now thinking of the game as silksong and not hk

its different, you cant compare. silksong is a game that greatly expands the concept of movement and has platforming sections across the map that are much more difficult than those in hollow knight
getting to the white palace means having to learn everything at once; its the first time youre faced with a real parkour challenge. thats why PoP usually takes much longer compared to other silksong platform sections. in silksong, there are much more difficult platforming sections distributed throughout the map (like hunter's march, mount fay and bilewater) making it so that when you reach the platform section of nameless town you are already much more familiar with its moveset and movement, impossible to compare
