Shards are a great system. In my casual blind save I just saved red tools for gaunlets and bosses. And I always had enough everytime

I think I dont like Silksong.

I have had a blast with the || Dancer, Widow and Last Judge || fights. And I do find a lot of the game to be very pretty.

But the moments between good fights seems pretty mid to me.
I don't want to say too much about what I am disliking, because it seems a bit ranty to me, especially since I really really want to love this game.

I just think it is going to be a one play through and done title, if I can push through to the end.

No it wouldn't. Every section that requires it specifically allows for time to restore it or offers an enemy to hit that restores it faster. It could just refund the timer when hitting an enemy for identical effect.
