It’s absolutely the minimum range on a lot of its attacks (using them too close and you get hit for freeeee) plus the wacky angle of the pogo and the fact that the heal pushes you to be aggressive

Gotta calm down and realise that you are capped at 3 healing anyways so you should still properly react to attacks not just go balls blazing parry fest

An important caveat with cross stitch is its worse at a imo core aspect of thread attacks

Nuking adds on spawn to prevent boss combos

It absolutely still has options vs adds you can counter their combos with the boss

But regardless of skill level no assuming perfect play under that fiction your thread attack is irrelevant you win it is less consistent at this than thread storm or spear

If the boss lacks adds though yeah stitch rocks
