I don't care what the people complaining about difficulty say tbh even if I do agree 2 mask damage is a bit overused. That complaint alone is nowhere near enough to change what a phenomenal fucking game this is. This is 1000% my GOTY.

The difference with Souls/Elden Ring, and why they handle difficulty in a a superior way to this game, is that you truly can leave to go get stronger and beat the boss. Whereas in Silksong there's barely any upgrades and the upgrades you do get are not that good. The first needle upgrade, for example, makes no difference on how many hits enemies in Marrow/Deep Docks take. Whereas in Elden Ring if you explore the world then every fight in the area around Mogott levels you up and there are tons of weapons around that can really help with the fight.

Imo Silksong has issues but difficulty isn’t one of them, the game lets you heal 3 hearts at a time, and makes it obvious that you can cannot wam on bosses or you get punished. Silksong is really for people who played the first one, offer more challenge. The only thing I would really critique is that 70% of enemies can fly.

How do i get to ||abyss||?

3 as far as i know
1 - During the Volatile Flintbeetle quest you need to get 3 items from 3 enemies but if by any chance one of the items get into lava or spikes, they are lost forever and the quest becomes impossible to complete. I've seen cases of the enemies respawning and cases where they didnt spawn back, so just be sure to kill the enemies on a safe place

2 - There is a bug called Huntress and doing her quest before or after Act3 leads to VASTLY different outcomes (before being the good one). Just make sure to do her quest before moving to Act 3

3 - One of the endings is only possible during the Curse state. This you get during a certain quest where you get cursed and gets rid of the curse by the end of it. It's impossible to get cursed again on the same playthrough so if you plan to get all endings you need to get the curse, kill the final boss of Act 2, get the ending and only after get rid of the curse.
