I really feel like this game has an issue with disrespecting your time, there's so many difficult bosses set up behind long, tedious, easy sections. The current one I'm on is ||Groal|| but many people are upset about ||last judge|| (see above), there's also ||cogwork dancers|| in which phase 2 is an identical copy of phase 1 making p1 a boring runback. Super Meat Boy solved this ages ago - the more difficult something is, the quicker the runback must be. These bosses need benches right outside them and the enemy gauntlets need to be skipped after you defeat them once. I think the difficulty is fine, but spending >50% of your time doing paperwork is not

I just beat it today. Did take a number of tries but that was just because I wasn't ultilizing most of hornet's kit I was just regularly hitting things. Once I started using the nail throw and really being efficient about my movements the boss ended up going down without too much trouble.

|| Stay close to him so you can go under his jump you can get 3-4 hits in there, use your dash and sprint to keep distance when he throws, wind up for spin move is really big. First phase he has big room for multiple hits and heal when he throws ball. Second phase if he stomps you can still get 3-4 hits in just jump over fire and hit while jump. When he spin moves just stay half distance to wall and watch smoke don’t freak out for it. You can still heal after he throws ball just keep more distance. Main idea is just dont freak out and let him attack he takes a while between attacks but will combo you if you start getting nervous ||

touching almost literally any enemy past act 1 takes two masks for just breathing near them, benches are a little hard to find and some of the map locations are places you'd never even think of going (like that one in whispering vaults, guarantee you over half the community didn't find that map without a video.)

i really enjoy silksong but the whole double damage issue with literally everything would definitely solve some things
