My biggest hope for Silksong's story is for it to feel more personal. Hollow Knight was running the "eternal, faceless evil" game, and that made perfect sense within the context. You're basically playing as a construct who was fashioned to end one thing in particular, through any means necessary. But hornet is a REAL PERSON, and it would be a little anti-climactic for her to travel through these lands, making friends and enemies, only for the big bad to be ancient evil 2 electric boogaloo. Personally I'm hoping for a good old fashioned BETRAYAL final boss, I think skong could pull that off with flying colors.
