I didnt say I think it is a prequel but you know hornet losing all her stuff isnt anything preventing it from being a prequel or supporting the idea of a sequel because they can freely write anything in or completely ignore this.

Keep in mind that by this logic Hornet 1 lacks tools (aka Silksong happens between hornet 1 and 2 by this logic) and Hornet still loses her attacks at the beginning of Silksong regardless.
