This is gonna sound strange, but in terms of Silksong's structure and gameplay, I think it's kinda comparable to Sekiro, except imo in Silksong it seems like there's more incentive to use the multitude of tools, abilities and mechanics, and obviously Sekiro's a bit more linear.

Both are not rpgs, but they do give you a variety of movement options, combat abilities, and limited use tools to exploit weaknesses and create openings in combat with bosses and enemies. Both Hornet and Sekiro have a primary weapon they use in conjunction with abilities and tools. Sekiro has his katana, combat arts, and prosthetic tools. Hornet has her nail, abilities, crests and tools. You are encouraged to change and mix which options you use depending on which encounter or boss you are in.
