like in Pathologic 2 needing to eat, drink and sleep is not just realism but an active gameplay reason as it heavily focuses in the resource and time management as its core gameplay, and the world event everyday reflects that to make your life even harder
games like stalker on the other hand, had a food, drink and sleep system which is realistic but its just there and you can ignore it other than immersion or healing reasons
itll be more egregarious to say, add eating and thirst to terraria other than "it makes sense" to a point its an active detriment

its a fair answer, BUT, you gotta ask yourself, sometimes is the realism aspect worth it overall for the gameplay impact? And you could argue to some extent that this rule that Ari mentioned is also questionable at certain points of the game etc so they at least have an idea of realism/gameplay concessions

Yeah! The three Xenoblade Chronicles games are the best video games I've ever played together with Hollow Knight. Everything works for me in the XC universe: music, story, action, adventure, character development... I definitely recommend them (especially the second one)
