yeah, Zomboid's extra hard mode even references CDDA,

for reference the community is currently split between the updates because a lot of it is pushing really hard into the realism aspect, stuff like despawning guns cuz "it doesnt make sense civilians will have this" reasoning etc

hell at one point in the game as longas you eat, youre good, but they didnt think this was realistic so they added a nutrition meter you had to fucking full fill on top of consuming vitamins and immunity boosters otherwise you get diseases
