Its the reason why I think Fume Knight LOOKS cool but his fight genuinely sucks.

Fume Knight can be dodged entirely by dodging in one direction which makes the entire fight boring.

For pre-nerf PCR you basically had to only dodge left for every attack if you wanted to deal with the cross slash which could happen at any moment

A simple thing like that can make these fights boring as fuck which is why Bloodstarved Beast is bad IMO
