I think the reason TC hasn't given us a release date or a trailer is because they don't want a whole lot of pressure to meet a specific date until it's actually set in stone. Putting together a trailer would also be a lot of work for a studio of only 2-3 people, so they're waiting until they actually have the date to make the trailer and release it. If they gave us a release date trailer when the game is still months from release it's more likely they would have to issue a delay, which is something they don't want to do.

I'm equally excited for both for different reasons. Rockstar always makes very impressive game worlds , and RDR2 set a new precedent for video game storytelling imo. Graphics, "artistic realism" and sense of place all prove that Rockstar is the best at what they do.

Hollow Knight's art style is beautiful, and TC really knows how to connect the the world in a way that sets the tone for each area the moment you walk into it. Each location is extremely memorable. Exploring Hallownest was one of the best experiences I've ever had in gaming and Pharloom will be the same. Plus, the music really brings out the mood of each area. Christopher Larkin is a musical genius and I can't wait for his talent to grace my ears again. Actually peak.
