I actually think it's best to reinstall HK before doing the clean install, as there's two locations for files.

After doing that you need to first turn off Steam cloud saves, then you need to navigate to the Team Cherry folder and back up only the save files you want to keep, they'll be named something like "user1.data", etc etc.

Then after that's done delete the entire "Team Cherry" folder, then navigate to your HK local files (via Steam: "browse local files") and also delete everything there. Then delete and reinstall the game via Steam.

I've been watching mossbag's old E3 demo analysis which has a lot of Silksong footage, and the more I see of this game the more I realize how much more animated Hornet is than the Knight. Her dress seems to move and swish around so much more and more dynamically than the Knight's little cloak in the og game. The moss you walk across in mossy grotto also squishes down. The animation and detail is so good I'm seeing new details every time I watch any footage.
