my big issue is like. i don't mind punishing games but for the couple hours i played rain world i felt like i was being punished repeatedly for reasons i didn't even begin to understand. that game gives you the briefest most bare-bones explanation of the controls and all that and then just throws you completely to the wolves and expects you to learn everything yourself without it actually having intuitive well-designed ways for you to learn everything yourself like most games of that nature do
