you know one thing in terms of balancing thats hard is how much more discrete the numbers are for HK

like ofc theres a different ways of implementing number balancing, but for the sake of the discussion were ofc gonna focus on HKs focus on smaller numbers and visibility

what i mean is, its hard to make concessions between the visual numbers that you can see (and want to be small) ie:
Knight/Hornet HP, Notches/Charm Costs, Soul/Silk vs to non visual ones like enemy HP and nail/needle damage

like for HK, soul was a meter of 99, you could heal 3 times which all took 33 soul from you

its easier to tweak those numbers by adjusting it a bit lower or higher, but with Hornet's silk spool system, 1 hit at the minimum is always going to be 1 hit
you can adjust iframes/heal amount etc but its going to be a bit more tied down because theres a lot more impact to it when you adjust the other levers for difficulty

Say for example, theres 1 mob enemies that took 4 hits to kill, and it takes 8 notches to heal

killing one of these would ofc give you 4 notches in total? what if they started popping out 3-4? youd gain so much silk in no time because 1 hit is always 1 notch, not much you can do like "oh this enemy only gives x amount of soul" which adds to the complexity with balancing th healing system as the healing system is also trying to operate the rules within health system (which only uses smaller numbers). Compare this to an RPG for example where numbers tend to be at the 100~ so going from 40 to 60 healing is somewhat impactful but its easy to adjust it down to 50 or 55 if its too much ya get me?
