Usually quests in game like that are basically just the hand of god guiding you to places
I imagine there will be very few and that you may just complete a lot of them without initiating them

Some of them, like Azerod said, will be to guide you to secret areas

speaking of the tool system, i really hope it doesnt use finite resources that you have to spend.

it shouldnt work like soul charges where it recharges if you attack enemies, but i think it should work like dark souls estus where it has a set amount of charges (that can be increased) that reset at a bench
