so so glad they decided to give fist weapons some love again in elden ring's base game and ESPECIALLY the dlc with the martial arts stuff

Fist weapons in ER are either busted or really fun or both

if you've never used bone fist in ds2 it's basically the precursor to what the dry leaf arts and the dane's footwork stuff was in shadow of the erdtree

it was the first and only time they gave a fist weapon like, cool martial arts moves in that trilogy

i loved most of the weapon types that were introduced in the dlc but i think my favorites were all the new fist weapons with unique movesets and all the light greatswords

also very funny how "light" greatswords are essentially just regular greatswords in the real world, because that's actually closer how most real world greatswords were generally wielded, not slung over the shoulder and swung all heavy

and even then still with a little more grace
