During the main story there will also be many moments where Hornet has to solve puzzles and strategize to defeat enemies. Another feature that will be in Silksong is Persona-like social links.

if you compare silksong to hollow knight, hk has multiple areas that are more or less copy and pastes of each other (with sometimes visual differences), a decently low unique enemy count (with enemy AI that usually repeated itself) which was superseeded by silksong not too long after their official announcement

But when you want to create something of HIGHER quality, more resources and experience doesn't mean it will take faster, just that you will be able to accomplish it in the first place. Higher quality = more dev time.
