i mean wouldnt it be more engaging if instead of grimmchild merely dealing more damage, the projectile debuffs an enemy and makes your next attack on it deal a bunch of extra damage

and that aspect plus maybe some other stuff gets stronger as grimmchild grows

yeah that’s what i’m thinking too. maybe adjusting it’s firing pattern would be good, but at a certain point with balancing stuff you gotta think big picture - grimmchild should not be an alternative to using your nail/spells
