about "good ai"

but rather than the necessity of having smart ai (which actually resulted in them being disliked cuz players accused them of cheating), it should focus on behavioural style ai

basically set AI with their own agencies that has reasonable actions within their agendas rather than competing to win

in games like 4x, this means less so of the AI wanting to win against the player but that they have their own goals that isnt just to fuck the player over

or in an RTS games, instead of having a specific or smarter AI, they have their own composition, attitude, etc that makes them engaging (Stronghold AI is one of the best on this)

so the sum it up i actually dont know what point im trying to argue and i dont think it really matters THAT much into HK considering the AI servicable and does what theyre expected for the genre outside of complex operations such as platform hopping and chasing
