Anti-TLDR:
There are 150 different “joker” cards.
You purchase them in shops or win theme based on conditions.
You may hold up to 5 at a time.
You earn random jokers that drastically change what your best poker hand is.
You use jokers and the progression of rounds to edit your deck.

Balatro at its core is essentially a more complicated slay the spire.

Yeah it's subjective like I get the point is to break the game with Goofy shit, but like you do the same thing in a roguelike trying to get cool synergies and completely break the fucking game but there's gameplay to rogue likes and it's fun.
