want to explore the gun fortress or wtv it's called? have to have the umbrella upgrade first (or be very clever)
want to kill the ogre easily and get past it? have to have found the flame vent upgrade (or be very skilled)
Sekiro is filled with "get this upgrade first" moments. They're just designed so seamlessly that it doesn't feel like a traditional metroidvania lock and key
