its one of the slower paced TW but i love it, and i like how despite being a musket era game it actually has some leverage of unit variety by adding tons of subtypes (Line Inf are the jack of al trades, Grenadiers has lower count and more expensive but great melee damage, Light Infantry recovered from fatigue faster and has a bit longer range so you could put them ahead of your army to screen) etc

cuz you basically have permament "meta" progression with your main character

and that means all your skills and etc will still stay and more often than not make it very easy to accumulate those loses by end game
like if you have a bunch of companions (immortal/non killable party members you can level up too), by end game most of them are running the Trainer skill which rapidly gives your low leveled soldier XP every midnight
