You said that the echo limit was inhibiting your enjoyment, it’s just there so that the game doesn’t crash and you have to be smarter with creative solutions and echo placements, a swarm will do fine but you can say toss stones all day (probably not the most effective), fight rifts to spam swordfighter form, use electric synergy with the toad that makes it rain and water blocks, use pea hats as buzzsaws and other creatures as different ‘weapons’ with bind, freeze enemies solid then drop them into mole holes, you can climb over enemies and drop pots on their heads, go caromadillo bowling, smash enemies repeatedly into spikes (once again with bind, I love that ability), all of which and more you can do within the echo limit comfortably
Another one of your gripes is that there’s a low sky, the sky isn’t even used that often unless it’s for parkour or seeing how high you can climb using only echoes (that’s actually a fun personal challenge), it’s not even an “open sky” game like BotW, the developers said so themselves

A good example of my argument is the redeads, they stun non-undead entities (including yourself) in an area, you could just use undead monsters (there are strategies to be had there too), but instead I used the toad tornado spirit thing I got earlier to quickly dash out of the way with reverse bond so a quickly placed swarm of keese could deal extra damage to the redead and then I could go back in and either slash at it with swordfighter form, summon some of the spinny blade traps to slice at it repeatedly or summon other melee echoes (the undead ones work well) to attack it, and since I’m now close to it, they won’t have to walk as far and can lock on immediately
