No ending stops Hornet from being captured, and the ability to break seals with bugs from Pharloom makes Hornet being locked in the Black Egg not an issue. Dreamers also don’t die when sealed, we simply didn’t have the means to remove them without killing them.

storywise i was a bit dissapointed but thats because BOTW's story was one of the few great Zelda stories

the islands were lackluster, the depths were more interesting but grew repetitive, and yes the story was very linear and predictable. I enjoyed playing around with fuse and ultrahand, though

fuse could have been better (though it isn't bad in how it actually is used per se) but other than that the game makes pretty good use of what is has in it

the fact that they could have gone in different directions with some things isn't really a flaw necessarily with the direction they ended up taking

I liked the Archon quest where the Archon turns out to not be the Archon and she was acting to be the Archon the whole time hence the name of the quest, "the masquerade of the guilty". at the end it turns out that the previous Archon actually split herself in two parts; her divinity and the rest. the divinity of the Archon manifested in the form of the Oratrice Mecanique D'Analyse Cardinale while the rest of the Archon became her "human" successor, which as I named previously is axting like the Archon despite lacking divinity and power. It was a huge shock for the player to find out that she wasn't the real Archon and it made me emotional to see that she had to endure the pain of 500 years, considering she had the lifespan of an average human. Overall the archon quest was really great and I liked it a lot because it had a really nice twist to it.

arm powers are far far far more well utilized than runes, combat is much better incentivized, shrines are actually good, dungeons are way more interesting as is getting to them
