I never appreciated how much attention to detail went in to every aspect of the game
the backgrounds have so much going on it's unbelievable, the spider silhouettes in the foreground in deepnest, the buildings in the bg of city of tears, it's not just the backgrounds
the hive itself is a beautiful area despite being incredibly small and completely optional, and there's so much more
honestly it's shocking they were able to make this in 3-4 years

and if silksong is planning to do all of this and also go further then yeah I don't think the wait is strange at all
