Ok so with the recent news of silksong finally getting an esrb rating, it gives us one important piece of info. That silksong is complete or at least finished enough to be both checked and registered for a rating by esrb. So in theory, silksong is basically already finished. But that doesn’t mean it’ll release in like fuckin 2 days so now it’s time for my little prediction. So first up I’m going to use an example to further prove my case, Elden ring. So Elden ring wasn’t giving its rating until December 2021, and then it released in February 2022. So you may be asking “why the FUCKIN HELL are you bringing up Elden ring?!” Well here’s the point, Elden ring released 2 MONTHS after getting its esrb rating. So if we apply this to silksong, then silksong is most likely set to release in June 2024. This June release would perfectly line up with multiple things like the original plan for release being the first half of 2023(now being pushed to the first half of 2024!) AND the fact that a god damn XBOX SHOWCASe is confirmed to happen in June. But there’s one thing I forgot to mention, the triple i initiative. If silksong does appear in it, what form would it be if my theory’s correct. Well I think silksong would still release in June and a release date trailer would be shown at the triple I event. And at the Xbox showcase it would be a gameplay overview. So in conclusion, silksong will have a release date trailer at the triple I showcase event with a release of June and a gameplay overview will be shown at the June Xbox showcase.
