No ending stops Hornet from being captured, and the ability to break seals with bugs from Pharloom makes Hornet being locked in the Black Egg not an issue. Dreamers also don’t die when sealed, we simply didn’t have the means to remove them without killing them.

Yeah, I think with what they're trying to do they are doing pretty bad, but they are genuinely working on it, they've talked about devs behind the scenes makings tools to speed up development and my guess is that means lots of datagen which would essentially let you add anything pretty fast with a couple of files, so they're getting better, and they istened to the community feedback about dog varients and dyeable dog armor so it's actually alright

What I mean is that Mojang take weeks to make changes as small as making dogs more resilient and changing textures.
Mods are sloppy if they are for fun, but if a dedicated and skilled modder tries to implement something, they could probably do it.
I'm not overestimating modders thats not the point, the point is that Mojang is a professional dev team backed by the wealthiest company in the world, and they take much more time than they could, adding minute details while people are looking for content.
