it deletes major enemies which is useful for solo

gemini turrets for the goons and hyper prop for oppressors and other priority targets

breach cutter is good but largely redundant if you have turret whip

flamethrower is reasonably fun, not a huge fan of driller's other stuff though

easily my least favorite class but it's still... fine

I usually play engi but also a good amount of gunner and scout

Turret whip makes the turrets way more fun

drg likes its camping objectives so a lot of the time you don't really have much choice

scout doesn't need defenses since things can't really hit you unless you mess up

scouts also have cryo grenades which are really good panic buttons

scouts have single target damage in plentiful supply if you see the cave leech before it grabs you it's dead, otherwise you're in the same boat as any other dwarf

I don't usually but I also don't go far from the group because I actually use flares
