unironically one of my fav part of new vegas is that all the cities actually make sense logistics wise
every town basically has a way of living either independently via crops or trade goods they take from a nearby location

silksong having working logistics would be great, tho HK kinda did that to a certain extent, like how storerooms in COT was a means to transport goods

it doesnt have to be super detailed or explained but just a way of adding locations/stuff with a background purpose of delivering materials is a cool detail, but given TC's background i dont doubt it tbh, one thing i trust them with is details like these given their previous interviews detailing how theyre willing to make compromises to make stuff make sense in the world

in it you play as a joe whos tasked to help a remote peninsula in turmoil

and it you slowly start learning about towns and stuff, and one of the wealthiest towns is, surprise surprise, strong arming their supply capabilities cuz the other regions have logistical problems (ie problematic routing, lack of other material goods to supply etc) and it shows how easily they can cut the support if they want to cuz they have a upper hand on the materials, and will use it as a leverage to kick curb other towns so they can stay dominant

Fastforward to Starfield, well since it got a lot of flak including the writing, hes kinda been touted as the main reason why Beth games will never move out of having bad narratives, hence the idea of "unless Emil gets fired, Bethesda will never write anything decent and Starfield shows for it" has been gaining grounds A LOT recently
