havent played much monster hunter but i always love how hunting the large monsters feels

now im back on it and loving it

played a little world too a while back, personally prefer how rise feels to play so far

the big thing for me is the verticality and mobility options

especially with heavier weapons (which are the weapons i like to use) the wirebugs present some really good distance-closing options which i appreciate

because needing to sheathe my weapon every time i need to close a distance between me and a monster is a little frustrating

its zl+x (i think, otherwise its zl+a) while drawn is a really good distance closer and escape

pulls you forward and sheathes the greatsword while also buffing your damage for the next few seconds

also has a wirebug move that launches you up in the air to do a falling attack which also closes some good distance
